The RMP holds an annual meeting to summarize highlights from the previous years work. In 2008, the program focussed the meeting on one of our biggest challenges for the Bay, mercury. This year's meeting was organized around two key questions that we are seeking to answer: Where is mercury entering the foodweb? and Which processes, sources and pathways contribute disproportionately to the foodweb accumulation? A number of speakers from industry, goverment, and academia provided insight on methods to begin to address these questions and noteworthy findings to date.
The RMP Annual Meeting was held on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Oakland Museum from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
